I'm Lanie Hayes
I have been a professional hair stylist since 1985. But I've been playing hairdresser with my dolls and a can of Aqua-net, since my mom took me to have her hair done in 1967! I originally attended Barber school, and after graduating, apprenticed at Puttin' on the Ritz in Towson, for my cosmetologist license.
Not only do I love doing hair, but also creating relationships with my clients, many of whom I call dear friends.
Outside of work, my favorite thing is spending time with my ever expanding family. My husband Tom and I have been married since 1990, and we have 3 adult kids who I ADORE! I enjoy reading, Netflix, sewing, and entertaining our extended family and friends
I believe a great haircut is the basis for great style. Enhancing a haircut with beautiful color and/or high lights is another aspect I love. Honestly, there isn't anything about hair that I don't enjoy!
